Art and Polynomials
In this project, we had to create a visual piece around a set of polynomial functions as well as do the math behind it. We had to know how to find the local and global minimum and maximums, we had to find zeros of a function, as well as multiple other things in order to create the correct line.
Reflection:
I was quite confident going into this project-I knew what I needed to do, and how to do it. The one challenged I faced (multiple times) was that when I went to graph my lines in the calculator, they wouldn't match! It was so close but it just wouldn't work! I tried for a long time to try to get them to match up. I had gone through my equation multiple times. After the billionth time, Effi and I found out that I was a zero off in one of my numbers. This had thrown my whole answer and graph off. (What a pain) But my visual turned out great and I gained a lot from this project. I'm very glad it all worked out.
